I have started using the climate card, a monthly metro and bus pass in Seoul. It can be used only in Seoul but costs 62,000 won, or roughly $42, every month. If you use transportation very often in Seoul, this could allow you to save money every month. However, it is still good to own a T-Money card for trips outside Seoul,
I can recommend many places for food, especially for anyone attending Ewha Women's University. For dessert, I would recommend Ice Cream Waffles in the Ewha area, out of the main gate, above an Indian restaurant on the third floor. They have fantastic ice cream, especially their milk tea ice cream.
I also recommend walking around and searching for food instead of going on Naver, as many places are not listed on Naver maps. This way, you can find many delicious small restaurants. If you want something specific, such as dakgalbi, I suggest searching for it on Google Maps. Naver only searches by name, so finding a particular type of cuisine is unhelpful.

I recommend dak galbi to anyone going to South Korea. It is one of my favorite Korean foods. Another meal you should eat during the summer is cold buckwheat noodles, especially if they come with grilled pork. Right beside Ewha Women's University, out of the front gate to the right past Lotteria, are some amazing cold buckwheat restaurants.
