You must remember the part about studying as you study abroad. As fun as it is to be in another country experiencing life, you must remember and stay on top of your academic assignments.
I felt that way, especially while studying abroad in South Korea. I learned how I would go back to UH Manoa, and wow. Did the exams test me? It wasn't me taking the exam; it was more the exam taking me out. I learned my lesson real quick after the midterms. So I want to emphasize to anyone wishing to study abroad in South Korea that you must research and prepare yourself.
After the disaster of a midterm season, I began studying. I would go to cafes to study, which I highly recommend as it will allow you to continue exploring South Korea and stay on top of your academics. Cafe hopping is a big part of the culture, and every time you search for recommendations for what to do in South Korea, you notice everyone mentioning cafe hopping or at least recommending a cafe in some capacity.
For anyone studying at Ewha Women's University, I would recommend tiangpang ohuui black tea cafe. It has a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect forlearningg. It also has plenty of blue ribbons, thee Korean equivalent of Michelin stars. It has amazing tea for cheap prices.
